Chemical Peel

There are many versions of chemical peels and they can treat a variety of issues. A chemical peel is used to regenerate skin cells. There are many different types of peels all with different focuses which include getting rid of scarring, hyperpigmentation, acne, dry skin, sagging skin and fine lines. One to three sessions are suggested for optimal results, but sometimes more in the case of certain skin types.

There is a downtime of about 7 to 10 days with this service. You MUST wear SPF everyday and stay out of direct sunlight. You can absolutely not peel the skin as it comes off or exfoliate, it will leave you with scars. It is imperative that you follow protocol for this treatment. You cannot exercise (sweat) or wear makeup during this time. It is a more invasive treatment but the results are incomparable. Peels can give you a whole different complexion within 10 days of your service — it’s truly one of the best treatments available for many skin issues!

Is there downtime?

BioRePeel does not have any social downtime, but traditional chemical peels do. There is a downtime of 5-7 days typically. 

What are my restrictions? 

You cannot exercise (sweat) or wear makeup during this time. It is a more invasive treatment but the results are incomparable. While you may have to wait to return to your regular routine, it is 100% worth it!
